Job Summary:
ENZO Bartender will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service to all guests that is consistent and continually in accordance with the ENZO Steakhouse & Bar service standards. Bartenders will be responsible for making alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by the recipe and delivering high-quality food and drinks in a clean and friendly environment.
Essential Functions:
General knowledge of cocktail crafting and mixology fundamentals Curate guests' bar experience by making recommendations Knowledge of all beverages to include liquors, beers, and wines Serves guests in an efficient courteous manner following the proper steps of service Knowledge of proper cocktail making, as trained by ENZO Midtown. Have necessary tools to run the shift such as pen, corkscrew, any bar tools, etc. Ability to pair wines with meals Understanding that bar serves full menu and must be prepared as much to serve full coursed or shared meals to guests Light food running when applicable, ability to carry plates that may be warm or hot Knowledge of all menu items to include prep time, preparations, sauces, allergies, and accompaniments Securing the tab and collect payment for food and beverages served Follow practices to ensure safe and responsible serving of alcohol Be aware of any specials, soups, drinks, and any items that are running low Ability to handle station, or when situations arise, ability to let manager/supervisor know ahead of time so as not to affect the guest experience Follow cash handling procedures, and must be able to explain shortages and overages Maintain bar area and follow the established daily checklist Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment Perform other duties as management requests to service our guests.
Qualification Standards:
