Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations. Develop and suggest beverage recipes, including signature cocktails, to enhance the menu and meet customer preferences. Manage cash transactions efficiently, process payments accurately, and handle cash handling responsibilities securely. Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth service flow. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food service during events such as banquets or catering functions. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to promote guest safety. Assist in bar management duties during peak hours or special events to ensure seamless operations. Stay informed about current beverage trends, including brewing techniques, mixology innovations, and wine knowledge to elevate guest experiences. Experience Proven bartending experience in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or catering settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS along with basic math skills for processing transactions accurately. Demonstrated expertise in cocktail creation, beverage recipe development, spirits selection, wine knowledge, and craft beer experience. Experience serving in hospitality settings that require excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with food handling procedures, food safety standards, and responsible alcohol service practices. Previous roles involving bar management or supervisory responsibilities are a plus but not required. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event days while maintaining high energy levels.
