Be a Soda Jerk at Cartersville's Only Soda Fountain! The Jerks is located ONLY in Cartersville, GA — in fact, we're the only one in the world! We'd love to find one or two experienced restaurant professionals who can start in early August. We're looking for someone with hustle, confidence, and a strong sense of responsibility—someone who wants to make The Jerks their job, not simply a side hustle. Ideally, this person is ready to take ownership of their role, and has the experience and leadership qualities to take on greater responsibility over time. There are opportunities to grow within The Jerks, and advancement is earned through strong, consistent performance. Training would begin in early August, and be scheduled for shifts immediately. We're looking for a charismatic, high-energy Soda Jerk - to prepare and serve handcrafted sodas, milkshakes, floats, sandwiches, waffles, and more — all in full view of the customer. There is no back room. This is a fully customer-facing role. If you're shy or uncomfortable talking to strangers, this isn't the job for you. If you love people, enjoy serving, smile often, and maybe even have a performer's heart — you'll fit right in. You'll be on your feet most of a shift. Pay & Structure This is a tipped role — somewhere between retail and restaurant service (think Waffle House style, but in an old-fashioned soda fountain).

Base pay:

$8/hour; Additional tip average: $4-$12/hour depending on shift Busy weekend shifts (Fri night through Sunday afternoon) earn significantly more Tips pooled (cash weekly, credit daily) After 60 days, you have the opportunity to earn a $1/hr raise After 90 days, you have the opportunity to earn another $1/hr raise Availability Weekend availability
