Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote repeat business. Manage POS systems such as
CAKE POS
to process orders accurately and efficiently while handling cash transactions securely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience. Monitor inventory levels of spirits, beer, wine, and mixers; communicate needs for restocking or ordering supplies. Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service events or banquets to ensure seamless delivery of food and beverages. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication. Qualifications Proven experience as a Bartender in casual dining or high-volume venues; familiarity with hospitality industry standards is essential. Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, craft beer, mixology techniques, and beverage recipe development. Proficiency with POS systems such as Cake POS; basic math skills for processing transactions accurately. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently. Experience in food handling, food safety practices, and catering or banquet settings is preferred. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of hospitality or willingness to learn industry regulations related to alcohol service and food safety standards.
