Job Description
Overview In this role, you will be the heart of the guest experience, blending expert beverage crafting with exceptional service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will create memorable moments for patrons while ensuring smooth operations behind the bar and at the tables. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mixology skills and hospitality expertise Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery and quality service Engage with guests to recommend beverages, answer questions about menu items, and enhance their overall experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and beverage stations in compliance with food safety standards Process cash transactions efficiently while managing tabs and handling cash handling responsibilities with accuracy Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates based on current trends and customer preferences Assist in bar management duties such as inventory control, restocking supplies, and ensuring compliance with alcohol regulations Other FOH duties such as cleaning windows, cleaning tables, etc. Requirements Proven experience in bartending or serving within a restaurant or hospitality environment Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, wine varieties, spirits, craft beer brewing processes, and beverage recipe development Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and cash handling Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and enthusiastically Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and alcohol service regulations Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales transactions and inventory management Days and hours for this position would be Wed
