Job Description
About the Role Midland Revival is hiring a skilled, personable Bartender to serve bar guests and produce accurate service-well tickets. This role combines cocktail, beer, wine, food, sales, sanitation, inventory, cash control, and responsible alcohol service. Key Responsibilities Welcome bar guests, describe food and beverage offerings, make recommendations, and maintain attentive service. Prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages accurately using approved recipes, portions, and presentation standards. Manage bar-top orders and service tickets with urgency while communicating delays, substitutions, and guest needs. Verify identification, monitor consumption, and follow responsible alcohol-service and incident-reporting procedures. Operate the POS system, process payments accurately, and protect cash, product, equipment, and inventory. Stock, clean, sanitize, and organize the bar before, during, and after service; support teammates during peak volume. What We're Looking For Previous bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar is preferred. Working knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service. Strong guest communication, multitasking, sales ability, accuracy, and composure under pressure. Required alcohol-service certification or ability to obtain it; flexible night, weekend, holiday, event, and game-day availability. Schedule and Physical Requirements Stand for extended periods, lift and carry bar supplies up to 40 pounds, and work around glass, wet floors, noise, and rapidly changing service volume.
