Job Description
J About the Role Midland Revival is hiring a dependable Line Cook to prepare menu items according to approved recipes, portions, presentation, and ticket timing. This role maintains a stocked, organized station and supports consistent kitchen execution during routine and high-volume service. Key Responsibilities Set up and stock the assigned station using prep lists, pars, labels, rotation, and food-safety standards. Cook and plate menu items to recipe, portion, temperature, presentation, and modification requirements. Read tickets carefully, coordinate timing with other stations, and communicate shortages or delays promptly. Monitor food quality, holding times, temperatures, and waste while protecting product and controlling portions. Keep tools, equipment, surfaces, coolers, and floors clean and sanitary throughout the shift. Complete prep, line checks, restocking, cleaning, and closing tasks while assisting other stations as needed. What We're Looking For Previous line-cook or commercial-kitchen experience is preferred. Basic knife skills, cooking knowledge, food-safety awareness, urgency, and attention to detail. Ability to follow recipes, accept coaching, coordinate with a team, and perform consistently under pressure. Food-handler certification if required and flexible availability for nights, weekends, holidays, events, and game days. Schedule and Physical Requirements Stand for extended periods, lift and carry kitchen items up to 50 pounds with assistance as needed, and work safely around heat, steam, sharp tools, hot surfaces, and wet floors.
