Job Overview Milton's Cuisine and Cocktails is seeking a professional and experienced Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink. Engage with guests in a friendly and energetic manner, providing personalized recommendations and enhancing their overall experience. Manage all aspects of bar service efficiently, including processing cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Develop new beverage recipes and craft innovative cocktails to keep the menu fresh and exciting for guests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate with management about stock requirements. Follow cash handling procedures accurately while processing payments swiftly during busy service hours. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender with strong cocktail mixing skills and extensive beverage knowledge including spirits, wine, beer (including craft brewing), and mixology techniques. Proficiency with POS systems; experience with Toast is a plus. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service. Prior experience working in fine dining establishments or banquet settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within the food industry. Strong math skills for retail math, basic math calculations, and accurate cash handling. Excellent communication skills combined with a passion for hospitality industry excellence. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as catering or banquets.
