Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to build rapport and enhance their overall experience. Operate POS systems for order processing, billing, and cash handling with accuracy. Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through excellent time management skills during busy hours. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashing out guests and balancing registers at shift end. Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service or catering events when necessary, ensuring smooth coordination between food and beverage offerings. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by verifying guest IDs and monitoring intoxication levels. Assist in setting up for special events like banquets or private parties to ensure seamless service delivery. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods using solid time management skills. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math calculations, and billing procedures. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly by verifying IDs and monitoring guest consumption levels. Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques including brewing coffee or tea if applicable. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by hospitality operations.
