Bartender/Server

Certified Burgers is looking for dedicated, mature and professional Bartender to join the team. If you have a servant heart and love people and food, this is the place for you. We make everything in house and continue to build on the 8 year reputation of this neighborhood restaurant.

Duties:

• Be fully knowledgeable of all food and beverage offerings
• Welcome guests, create an experience for them with our food and beverage offerings
• Handle customer payments, including individual cash bank
• Maintain cleanliness of all front of house areas of the restaurant, including restrooms
• Provide excellent guest service and address any guests concerns or complaints
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
• Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure each shift runs smoothly and all guests and neighbors are taken care of.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or hospitality setting required
• Knowledge of beer, liquor and wine preferred. Expectation is to learn our offerings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
• Needs to be self sufficient and not need to be micromanaged
• Must be at least 21 years old to sell alcohol Bartender shifts and server shifts will have disparate pay rates, hours, and responsibilities.

Expected to work both PM and AM as needed. Double shifts are available for those with restricted schedules. Weekend and holiday availability are mandatory. Our establishment does not use tip pooling, but does require minor tip-outs for scheduled Food Runners and Hosts. Bartenders are expected to help research, develop, and roll out new cocktails with the help of the Bar Manager. Required to assist with inventory and organization of all alcohol storage.
