Position Description We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Part-Time Bartender to join our team. This position is responsible for creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for guests while providing beverage service at our Lobby Bar and preparing items (snacks/small plates) from our limited food menu. The ideal candidate has a strong hospitality mindset, enjoys interacting with guests, and is comfortable working independently in a relaxed hotel bar environment. Previous bartending experience is preferred; however, a strong customer service or hospitality background and a willingness to learn are equally important. Our bar is open Monday through Saturday from 5:00 PM-10:00 PM. This position will typically work 3-4 shifts per week from approximately 4:30 PM-10:30 PM. Saturday availability is required. Responsibilities Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to hotel guests and bar patrons Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards Prepare items from a limited food menu, including reheating and assembling snacks and light food offerings Verify identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with applicable laws and hotel policies Accurately process guest transactions using the hotel's point-of-sale system and properly handle cash and credit card payments Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up and securing the bar area Maintain appropriate stock levels of beverages, food products, glassware, and supplies throughout the shift Keep the bar, food preparation areas, equipment, and guest seating areas clean, organized, and sanitary Monitor inventory and communicate product or supply needs to management Engage with guests and help create a welcoming atmosphere that contributes to an exceptional overall hotel experience Follow all food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and hotel operating procedures Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Previous bartending experience preferred, but not required for candidates with a strong hospitality or customer service background Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with guests Dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills Ability to multitask and remain attentive to guests while managing beverage and food service responsibilities Must be available to work approximately 3-4 evening shifts per week, including Saturdays Schedule Part-Time | 3-4
