Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering strictly to food safety and food handling standards. Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations to ensure accurate billing and transactions. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving practices in compliance with alcohol service regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly. Keep track of inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist in ordering beverage stock to prevent shortages. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations during busy hours while maintaining high-quality service. Ensure all food safety protocols are followed diligently in food handling and serving processes. Contribute to a lively atmosphere by engaging with guests at nightclubs or special events, creating an energetic environment that encourages repeat visits. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume shifts. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and sales transactions. Previous retail math experience helpful for inventory management and sales tracking. Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector demonstrates adaptability and professionalism. Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage crafting adds value but is not mandatory.
