Assistant Manager

Support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and efficient execution of daily activities. Supervise team members, oversee department functions, and maintain compliance with company policies and liquor regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

(May include) Assist in managing the daily operations of the store, including sales, merchandising, and inventory control. Supervise, train, and support staff to maintain high levels of performance and customer service. Oversee ordering, receiving, and stocking of fine wines, spirits, and related products. Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate recordkeeping and product rotation. Support employee relations activities, including scheduling, performance reviews, and conflict resolution. Ensure compliance with all state and local alcohol laws and store policies. Collaborate with the Store Manager to meet sales goals and promote store growth.

Qualifications:

Associate Degree preferred; equivalent education or experience considered. Minimum of two years of retail experience, ideally in wine, spirits, or beverage sales. Demonstrated experience supervising or managing store employees. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of wine and liquor products and an enthusiasm for customer service excellence.
