Duties Lead and motivate the bartending team to provide outstanding service, ensuring every guest feels valued and attended to. Develop and refine beverage recipes, including cocktails, wine pairings, craft beers, and spirits to enhance the menu offerings. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures during beverage preparation. Monitor inventory levels of spirits, wine, beer, and bar supplies; place orders to maintain optimal stock levels. Train staff on proper serving techniques, cash handling, upselling strategies, and customer service excellence. Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to maintain a positive atmosphere and high guest satisfaction. Assist in coordinating catering or banquet events requiring bar service, ensuring seamless execution. Maintain a lively yet professional environment that encourages teamwork and high performance. Experience Proven experience as a bartender with strong cocktail mixing skills and beverage recipe development. Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a bar or restaurant setting is highly preferred. Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and mixology techniques. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours while maintaining attention to detail. Experience working in fine dining establishments or hospitality environments emphasizing exceptional customer service. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices within the food industry. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately with basic math skills; retail math experience is advantageous.
