Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Manage multiple orders efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, accurately processing cash transactions and credit card payments. Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations. Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate stock shortages promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service operations like banquets or catering events to ensure seamless guest experiences. Uphold responsible alcohol service practices by checking IDs, managing intoxication levels, and adhering to all licensing laws. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, casual restaurants, nightclubs, or catering environments. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience in food handling, safety procedures, and maintaining cleanliness standards in food service settings. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service standards. Previous bar management or supervisory experience is a plus but not required.
