Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bar Manager/Assistant Manager to lead our hospitality team with enthusiasm and expertise. As a key leader in our establishment, you will oversee all aspects of bar and restaurant management, ensuring smooth service, high-quality food and beverage offerings, and team excellence. Your proactive approach will help drive profitability, uphold food safety standards, and create memorable moments for our guests. Duties Supervise daily bar and restaurant operations Lead staff training sessions Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability Oversee cash handling procedures, reconcile registers, and ensure accurate financial transactions Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff, supervising team performance, and maintaining high morale Enforce food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and compliance with health regulations across all food and beverage areas Assist in hiring Skills Extensive experience in cocktail preparation, and waitstaff management within fine dining environment Strong background in inventory control, food safety management, and food production processes Proven leadership skills in supervising teams, managing shifts, training staff, and fostering a positive work environment Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently Effective communication skills for managerial tasks such as interviewing, staff development, and operational coordination Experience in hospitality management roles including restaurant or hotel settings; bar experience or catering background is highly valued Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for cash handling reconciliation and inventory calculations.
