DISCRIPTION
The Brewhouse by Westwood is seeking a weekend Bartender/Servers to join our team. Bartenders ensure that patrons have an enjoyable drinking experience by providing quality customer service. Bartenders work in the front of the business taking orders, serving food and drinks, and removing dinnerware from the table in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Welcomes guests to the restaurant in a professional manner. Interacts with guests to take accurate food and drink orders. Leave a positive impression of the establishment's friendliness, excellent service and high standards. Must be able to carry natural conversation with guests without sounding scripted or intrusive. Communicates effectively with kitchen staff when food ordering expressing any special needs. Ensures prompt delivery of food to the guest's table. Handles cash and credit cards according to the company's policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIRMENTS
Extensive food, beer, liquor & wine knowledge. Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand portion sizes. Must have flexible work schedule and able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Must have reliable transportation.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to stand and walk throughout the shift Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. at shoulder height and push/pull up to 75 lbs.
