Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our bar, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional drink service and engaging conversations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, a strong knowledge of spirits and wine, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a lively environment. Your expertise will help elevate our bar's atmosphere and ensure every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and standards. Use POS systems such as Toast and Spot On to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. Engage with guests in a friendly manner, offering beverage recommendations and providing excellent customer service. Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates that reflect current trends and guest preferences. Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and reporting shortages promptly. Handle cash handling responsibilities with accuracy while processing payments and giving correct change. Experience Previous bartending experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality environments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, and craft beer options. Experience with POS systems such as Toast and Spot On is essential for smooth transaction processing. Familiarity with food service operations, including food handling, serving, catering, and banquet experience. Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple orders during busy hours without compromising quality or service speed. Background in hospitality industry roles that involve customer service, bar management, or beverage recipe development is advantageous. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management, and food safety awareness are necessary for success in this role.
