Part-time, tipped position Job Summary Billy Barooz is seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring that the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the hospitality industry and eager to learn more about food and beverage service. Duties Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks to customers efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Stock the bar with necessary supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice. Handle food preparation tasks as needed to support bar operations. Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure smooth service flow. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously. Assist in managing inventory levels and notifying management of low stock items. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is advantageous. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn about mixology and beverage service. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
