Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and promote specials to enhance their experience. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately to process cash transactions, credit card payments, and tabs efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and assisting with beverage recipe development to keep offerings fresh and innovative. Handle cash handling procedures responsibly while processing transactions swiftly to minimize wait times. Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service or catering events to ensure smooth operation during banquets or large gatherings. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment, preferably with fine dining or banquet experience. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipes, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and spirits. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts using strong time management skills. Experience in food handling, food safety protocols, and basic math for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Basset Certification required. Previous bar management or hospitality industry experience is a plus for those looking to grow within the team.
