Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service and building rapport. Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately using systems such as Toast POS, including processing orders, payments, and issuing receipts. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment; respond promptly to any issues or concerns. Restock supplies regularly, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators during catering or banquet functions to ensure seamless service delivery. Uphold responsible serving practices by verifying legal drinking age and recognizing signs of intoxication. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is essential for efficient order processing. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Demonstrated ability in time management to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse guests positively. Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector is advantageous; retail math skills are beneficial for cash handling accuracy. Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage crafting adds value; previous nightclub or catering experience is a plus.
