Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality. Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems and process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills. Provide friendly, professional customer service by greeting guests promptly, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in compliance with food safety standards and food handling regulations. Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management and prioritization skills. Upsell menu items to increase sales while ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive serving and engagement. Collaborate with team members during events such as banquets or nightclub nights to deliver seamless service in high-energy settings. Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is essential; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Experience in catering or banquet settings will be advantageous for managing large groups efficiently. Knowledge of food safety practices, basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations, and familiarity with alcohol laws are required. Strong customer service skills combined with excellent communication abilities to create welcoming environments for diverse guests.
