Full-Time / Part-Time Oak & Alchemy is a smokehouse and wood-fired pizza restaurant equipped with a full-service bar, We offer a higher-end casual dining experience and are currently hiring for multiple front-of-house positions. As a brand new restaurant in Woodstock, IL, we are building a team from the ground up and looking for people who want to be part of something from day one. Customer service is the biggest part of this role. Behind the bar, you are not just making drinks you are creating the experience. Energy, personality, and attention to detail are everything. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to bar guests and dining roomProvide attentive, friendly service to every guest at the barMaintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all timesWork with servers to ensure drinks are made quickly and accuratelyManage tabs, handle payments, and close checks correctlyKeep glassware clean and maintain ice supply throughout the shiftEngage with guests and create a welcoming, high-energy environment Requirements Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per weekAbility to lift at least 40 poundsPrevious bartending experience preferredStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentReliable, punctual, and consistentProfessional appearance and positive attitude Expectations Customer service is our top priority at all timesTreat every guest like a friend or family memberStay engaged, attentive, and aware — no one should feel ignoredWork with urgency while maintaining accuracyKeep your bar clean and organized throughout the shiftShow up on time, in uniform, and ready to work What We Offer Starting pay at $9/hour plus tips (earnings based on performance and volume)Flexible schedulingOpportunity to grow as we expandTeam-oriented work environmentConsistent schedule — we operate Thursday through Sunday, with Mondays through Wednesdays always off
