Job Description
Finish the Summer Strong with Jed's BBQ & Brew! As summer winds down, the lakes around Angola continue to bring visitors, vacationers, and weekend crowds through our doors. We're looking for dependable, energetic Servers who enjoy working with people and want the opportunity to earn excellent tip income while being part of a team that works hard and has fun doing it. Our immediate need is Servers , but team members who consistently demonstrate strong customer service, reliability, and attention to detail may have the opportunity to cross-train as bartenders to help cover bar shifts in the future. If you're motivated, enjoy staying busy, and take pride in providing great hospitality, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Be Doing Every shift is different, but your responsibilities may include: Welcome guests promptly with a friendly, upbeat attitude. Seat guests when needed and ensure they feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. Learn our menu and confidently answer guest questions. Take food and beverage orders accurately using our POS system. Deliver meals and drinks quickly while maintaining excellent service. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience. Pre-bus tables by clearing finished plates and glasses to keep tables clean during service. Bus, sanitize, and reset tables efficiently so they're ready for the next guests. Restock service stations and complete side work throughout your shift. Work closely with bartenders, kitchen staff, and fellow servers to keep service running smoothly. On our busiest days, our Front of House Support team helps with many of these tasks. During slower shifts, everyone works together, and servers are expected to help greet guests, maintain the dining room, and keep tables turning efficiently. Who We're Looking For We're searching for individuals who: Enjoy working with people. Can stay organized during busy rushes. Pay attention to the small details that create a great guest experience. Work well independently and as part of a team. Take pride in keeping a clean, welcoming dining room. Are dependable and show up ready to work. Previous serving experience is appreciated, but we're willing to train motivated individuals with the right attitude. Applicants must have—or be able to obtain—an Indiana Employee Liquor Permit.
