A Bartender mixes and prepares cocktails and serves drinks to customers. Works with other wait staff in a bar or restaurant; checks to be sure that customers are legal drinking age. May work at private parties.

Job Summary:
As a Bartender/Key Holder at Diamond Plate, you'll be the face of our guest experience. You'll deliver excellent service in a fast-paced, energetic environment — whether it's a casual dinner, a birthday party, or a private rental event. From table service to coordinating with the entertainment and party rental teams, you'll play a key role in keeping the vibe fun, smooth, and unforgettable.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Experience Greet guests with energy and enthusiasm Provide knowledgeable, attentive service throughout the dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders, and ensure timely delivery Be comfortable guiding guests through our food, drinks, and entertainment options Prepare beverages to spec Nightly cash handling Opening & Closing duties Events & Rentals Assist with set-up and service for parties, private rentals, and events Coordinate with event hosts and management to ensure seamless execution Understand the flow of the entertainment/gaming area to answer questions and direct guests as needed Teamwork & Communication Work closely with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure a cohesive experience Communicate clearly and calmly, even during high-volume shifts Help maintain a clean, organized dining area and service stations
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable working in a lively environment with kids, families, and groups Familiarity with party/event service or interest in learning Must have or be able to obtain a liquor license (training provided if needed) Able to work nights and weekends as needed Indiana Liquor Service license
