Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant team as a Seasonal Bartender/Server and bring your energetic spirit and hospitality expertise to create memorable experiences for our guests! Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently using our POS system. Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high standards of customer service. Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and basic math calculations for bills and change. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling, food safety, and sanitation procedures. Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items, including fine dining options or nightclub offerings. Assist with setup, breakdown, and cleanup of the bar or dining area during shifts, including events. Support team members in managing busy periods through effective time management and multitasking skills. Gain knowledge of our 18 craft beers to provide recommendations to customers. We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender/server to provide an excellent guest experience. Good candidates will be able to create classic drinks and serve our craft beer to exceed customers' needs and expectations. Compensation includes hourly wage, customer tips and tip-outs for servers. Responsibilities Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails Plan and present cocktail and beer menu Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Complete bar sidework and duties Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Comply with all food and beverage regulations Skills Resume and proven working experience as a bartender/server Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks and beer Computer literacy Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean Relevant training certificate and liquor license for

In person Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or catering settings. Familiarity with POS systems enhances efficiency in order processing and sales tracking. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly while understanding alcohol serving laws and food safety regulations is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally and courteously. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously through excellent time management skills in fast-paced environments. Knowledge of retail math, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills are important for accurate billing and transactions. Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector demonstrates adaptability to various service styles including brewery or nightclub atmospheres.
