DESCRIPTION
Hammer & Quill is a leader in the craft cocktail market within the Michiana area. Our independent & local owners provide a unique hands-on philosophy to business operations. We apply that same approach to our sister company, The General Deli, located adjacent to HQ. The General is open 7-4 Mon-Fri, 8-4 Sat & Sun while HQ is 4-midnight Mon-TH & 4-1am Fri & Sat. HQ is whiskey centric by design while also providing a dynamic seasonal cocktail menu that reflect the artistry of mixology. HQ is seeking an experienced bartender/mixologist that possesses a professional passion towards hospitality. The bartender's responsibilities include providing a warm and inviting atmosphere for patrons, developing new cocktails for seasonal signature cocktail program, ensuring a clean environment is maintained for the guests to enjoy. Primary duties include performing beverage prep, bartending, stocking product and providing superior customer experience. SKILLS Multi-tasking Strong interpersonal skills Maintaining cleaning standards to ensure a sanitary environment Extensive food and beverage knowledge, training and experience Enforcing industry standards regarding alcohol consumption Ability to perform bartender duties for extended period of time Maintain good cash management & POS practices
