Job Description
Aramark is seeking a skilled Bartender for the Overland Park Convention Center to deliver outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced event environment. In this role, you will prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, follow Aramark's recipes and portion standards, and ensure responsible alcohol service. You'll set up and break down bar stations, maintain cleanliness, manage inventory, and accurately process payments. Working closely with catering and event teams, you'll embody Aramark's culture of service, safety, teamwork, and inclusivity while helping create memorable events for clients and guests. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Aramark standards and recipes. Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to all guests during events. Set up, restock, and break down bar stations, including inventory and supplies. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized bar area in compliance with health and safety regulations. Verify guest identification and practice responsible alcohol service at all times. Accurately process cash and card transactions using POS systems and follow cash-handling procedures. Collaborate with catering, banquet, and event teams to support smooth event operations. Follow all Aramark policies regarding safety, ethics, and guest service. Respond promptly to guest concerns and resolve minor issues or escalate as appropriate. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and service skills.
