Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits with precision and flair. Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring proper cash handling procedures. Develop new beverage recipes and contribute creative ideas to the bar menu to keep offerings fresh and exciting. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor stock levels to ensure smooth service during busy hours. Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during events like banquets or catering functions, ensuring seamless guest experiences. Skills Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, spirits, and brewing processes. Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly while maintaining quality standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly, professional manner. Experience in fine dining environments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable. Ability to develop beverage recipes creatively and adapt to different customer preferences. Solid understanding of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management.
