Part Time Bartender - Courtyard by Marriott Wichita at Old Town Lexima Wichita, KS Job Details Part-time $12 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Food Handler Certification Full Job Description About the Position The Courtyard by Marriott Wichita at Old Town is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Part-Time Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. This position is responsible for providing excellent guest service, preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, assisting with food preparation, and supporting restaurant, bar, banquet, and catered events. What You'll Do Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Provide friendly, professional service to hotel guests and event attendees Assist with basic food preparation and plating as needed Follow food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards Verify identification and follow applicable alcohol service laws Set up, stock, clean, and break down bar and food service areas Support meetings, banquets, catering functions, and other events Restock beverages, food items, and supplies Handle cash and payments accurately Wash dishes and maintain clean, organized work areas Work closely with the Food & Beverage team and supervisors What We're Looking For Previous bartending, restaurant, or food & beverage experience preferred Basic food preparation experience preferred Cash-handling experience a plus Food handler certification as required by local regulations TIPS or responsible alcohol service certification preferred; training may be provided Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Reliable and flexible with scheduling Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, with reasonable accommodations as needed Schedule Part-time position with a variable schedule based on hotel business needs. Availability may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compensation $12/hour plus tips.
