Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
• Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operation of the bar
• Clean tables and chairs off / mop the floor
• Restock coolers, prep fruit for mixed beverages, etc.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a bartender or in the food industry is preferred
• Knowledge of brewing techniques and different types of alcoholic beverages
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
