Job Description
Harry's American Bar & Grill is a year-round patio bar and restaurant experience that combines the rich history of horse racing and bourbon with crafted drinks and remarkable food. Known for the Mini Burger, Specialty Sushi, signature cocktails, hand-selected wines, and a refreshing atmosphere. As a Harry's Back of House Team Member, your job is to support the restaurant by preparing and maintaining high-quality food while ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. You will work with a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing 100% Guest Satisfaction. 100% of the Time. Cook Dishwasher Expeditor Prep Cook Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, assemble, or support the preparation of food according to company recipes, specifications, and quality standards as appropriate to your position. Follow all food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked workstation throughout each shift. Ensure food is prepared, handled, stored, and labeled according to company and health department standards. Follow proper portioning, presentation, and recipe specifications to maintain consistency and quality. Communicate effectively with kitchen team members and management to ensure efficient operations. Maintain awareness of product levels and communicate low inventory or supply needs to the appropriate team member or manager. Assist with receiving, stocking, rotating, organizing, and storing food and supplies when needed. Maintain cleanliness throughout kitchen, prep, storage, dish, and work areas as assigned. Follow proper procedures for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, work surfaces, and other kitchen areas. Support fellow team members and assist in other areas of the kitchen when needed.Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including shifts of 8+ hours. Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs. Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift. Ability to work safely around hot surfaces, sharp equipment, cleaning products, and other kitchen equipment. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment.Benefits:
