Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Prepare and serve a variety of drinks including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair Upsell menu items and drink specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales records Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bar stations and dining spaces Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and resetting tables for new guests Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or high-volume settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Demonstrated cocktail experience with a good understanding of spirits, wine knowledge, and beverage service techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and handle diverse situations professionally Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs confidently Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Previous host/hostess or cashiering experience is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential Embark on a lively career where your passion for exceptional service meets your love for great food and drinks!
