Position Summary :
The Bartender/Server is primarily responsible for providing excellent service to guests, remaining attentive to guest needs, preparing drinks with a strong knowledge of mixology, and confirming orders are prepared accurately and presented well before delivering food from the kitchen to the guests. This role will adhere to health code standards in food handling while delivering top-notch service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests and take drink and food orders. Stay attentive to the needs of guests in the dining area. Deliver food from the kitchen to the guests. Ensure the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff and looks presentable for guests Follow health code standards with regards to the handling of food. Perform shift duties like delivering racks of cups to the service station, rolling silverware, pre-bussing tables, wiping tables and removing debris. Bartender must have Bartending/Responsible Vendor card and knowledge of mixology. Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Skills/Experience :
1+ years of waiting experience in a restaurant, hotel or resort, required. Knowledge of POS systems. Bartending/Responsible Vendor card. Knowledge of mixology. Strong multitasking, organizational and time management skills. Capable of following instructions without variation. Must be able to maintain high standards and work safely, efficiently, and neatly. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Must be within commuting distance to the property and have reliable transportation. Physical Requirements
