Job Description
Banquet Server/Bartender Overview:
We are looking for a Banquet Server/Bartender who will be responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests during banquet events (weddings, showers, awards dinners, etc). In this position, you will be expected to set up banquet tables, serve food and beverages, and clean up after events. The characteristics of this position require a clean and groomed appearance, verbal communication skills, a desire to take initiative, a personality that is noticeably pleasant and outwardly friendly, and a work ethic that leads by example in timeliness, urgency, and excellence. The Banquet Server/Bartender must be available most nights and weekends (a definite plus if available during weekdays, as well.) The Banquet Server's shift will consist of two hours of pre-event prep, usually three to four hours of actual event activities, and one to two hours of side/closing work at the end of the event. The frequency of assigned shifts are dependent upon the seasonality of the event industry. An estimation of a typical year is as follows: January through March- Moderately busy (1-2 Events Per Week) March through May

- Very Slow (1 Event Every Week) September through November
- Busy (2-4 Events Per Week) December

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Set up banquet halls with tables, chairs, and linens according to event specifications. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner Clear tables and clean banquet halls after events Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests Maintain a clean and organized work area Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines Communicate effectively with other staff members to ensure seamless event execution Assist with inventory and restocking of supplies Clean the venue at the end of every event Prepare the room for the next event Perform other duties as assigned by managementJob Type:
Part-time Pay:
$13.00- $15.
