Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, following established recipes and presentation standards. Manage bar operations efficiently by processing cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Develop creative beverage recipes and assist in menu updates to keep offerings fresh and appealing. Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; place orders as needed to prevent shortages. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate service during busy hours, special events, or banquets. Skills Extensive experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly. Proven cocktail crafting skills with a strong knowledge of mixology techniques and beverage recipe development. Deep understanding of spirits, wine knowledge, craft beer varieties, brewing processes, and beverage trends. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods without compromising quality. Experience working in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety protocols, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation standards within the food service industry.
