As we prepare to open our doors, we're looking for experienced, enthusiastic, and hospitality-driven bartenders to join our opening team. Whether you're crafting the perfect margarita, recommending a premium tequila, or making guests feel right at home, you'll play an essential role in bringing the Azul Agave experience to life. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve cocktails, margaritas, beer, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages according to restaurant recipes and quality standards. Provide exceptional hospitality while creating a welcoming, lively, and engaging bar atmosphere. Demonstrate knowledge of tequila, mezcal, spirits, and classic cocktails. Take food and beverage orders, provide menu recommendations, and ensure accurate order entry. Manage high-volume bar service while maintaining consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail. Prepare beverages for both bar guests and restaurant service staff. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each shift. Follow all applicable Massachusetts alcohol service regulations, responsible serving practices, and food safety standards. Process guest payments accurately and maintain proper cash-handling procedures. Work collaboratively with servers, hosts, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless guest experience. Assist with opening, closing, inventory, and daily bar preparation. Qualifications & Experience Previous bartending experience in a full-service restaurant or high-volume bar environment preferred. Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and beverage preparation. Experience with tequila-based cocktails and margaritas is a plus! Excellent communication, multitasking, and customer service skills. Ability to remain organized, professional, and attentive during busy service periods. Comfortable using POS systems and handling cash and credit card transactions. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties of the position. Must meet all applicable legal requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
