Part-Time (Evenings & Weekends Required) About Us MB Lounge is Worcester's longest continuously operating LGBTQ+ bar and nightclub, proudly serving the community since 1971. We strive to provide a fun, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels at home. We are looking for an energetic, dependable bartender who enjoys working in a fast-paced nightlife environment and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently Provide friendly, professional service to every guest Verify IDs and comply with all Massachusetts alcohol service laws Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout the shift Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS system accurately Monitor guests for signs of intoxication and refuse service when necessary Work as part of a team with barbacks, DJs, security, and management Complete opening and closing duties Help create a welcoming environment for all guests Qualifications Previous bartending experience preferred (nightclub or high-volume bar experience is a plus) TIPS Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Dependable, punctual, and professional Comfortable working late nights, weekends, holidays, and special events Must be at least 21 years old What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic Enjoys interacting with people from all backgrounds Thrives in a busy nightlife setting Can remain calm and professional during high-volume shifts Works well with a team and follows management direction Schedule Primarily Friday and Saturday nights Additional weekday and special event shifts available Nights, weekends, and holidays required Pay Hourly wage plus tips Competitive earnings based on experience and performance Benefits Flexible scheduling Fun and supportive team environment Opportunities for additional shifts and special events If you enjoy nightlife, love meeting people, and want to be part of one of Worcester's most iconic LGBTQ+ venues, we'd love to hear from you!
