Bartender Jimmy's Seafood Inc - 4.0 Baltimore, MD Job Details Seasonal | Full-time $3.63 an hour + tips 1 day ago Benefits Dental insurance Vision insurance Employee discount Qualifications Customer inquiry handling Full Job Description Responsibilities Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for guests of bar and dining/event room, following recipes Take orders; serve food and beverages Inform guests of specials and promotions, answer questions and make suggestions Present bills, accept payments, operate POS systems, upholding strict cash handling procedures and accountability for all transactions Ensure cleanliness and organization of bar area Perform opening/closing responsibilities Practice safe food handling and cleanliness standards at all times Adhere to quality standards and restaurant rules and procedures Actively participates in the company's social media program by posting/sharing company fliers to personal social media accounts, if available Performs other work-related duties as assigned About You Ability to work varied hours/days (including weekends and holidays) Highly Motivated & Goal Driven Confidence, Enthusiasm, Passion to Win Excellent teamwork and customer service skills Strong verbal communication and listening skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Prioritization and time management skills Ability to multitask well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment Education and Experience Must be 18 years of age minimum Experience in Bartender position or bar/restaurant environment preferred Food handling and Alcohol awareness training preferred High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
