BARTENDER STATUS
Non-Exempt; hourly; full time; 30 or more per week
REPORTS TO
Dining Service Manager/ Director of Dining Services
GENERAL SUMMARY
: The Bartender is responsible for bar service in The Pub. With the direction/guidance of the Director of Dining Services and Dining Service Manager, the Bartender will assist with planning, coordinating and implementing a variety of beverages with and without alcohol; menu selection and preparation of serving beverages and food to residents, guest, and family members. All job duties are to be performed in accordance with the established standards as described in the Quality Assurance Manual for the department.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES

Primary Job Duties :
Takes orders, provides service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answers pertinent questions about drink items. Clears all tableware from tables and bar after service. Cleans all glassware and dishes Stocks, restocks and rotates supplies. Prepares garnishes for bar use. Maintains all documents necessary to accurately account for resident and guest charges. Assists supervisor with inventory of supplies.
