+ Tequila Bar is hiring an experienced, energetic and dependable bartender to join our team. We are a busy, full-service restaurant specializing in Mexican cuisine, handcrafted cocktails and tequila. We're looking for someone who delivers genuine hospitality, works well under pressure and understands that being a great bartender involves much more than making drinks. The right candidate will be organized, team-oriented and comfortable handling bar guests, service-bar tickets and a full dining section during busy shifts. Responsibilities Provide friendly, attentive and professional service Prepare cocktails consistently according to Soluna's recipes Use jiggers and follow established pouring and portioning standards Serve bar guests and manage assigned dining tables Handle high-volume service-bar tickets accurately and efficiently Check identification and follow responsible alcohol-service practices Recognize signs of intoxication and involve management when appropriate Maintain a clean, organized and fully stocked bar Complete opening, closing and weekly side work Process payments and handle cash accurately Communicate effectively with servers, managers and support staff Follow all restaurant policies, sanitation standards and safety procedures Qualifications At least one year of bartending experience in a full-service restaurant preferred High-volume restaurant experience strongly preferred Working knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer and wine Tequila and mezcal knowledge is a plus Comfortable following recipes and using a jigger consistently Strong communication, multitasking and guest-service skills Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Ability to remain calm, organized and professional during busy shifts Ability to stand for extended periods and perform normal bar-related lifting Must meet all Maryland requirements for serving alcoholic beverages Availability Applicants must have dependable evening and weekend availability. Friday and Saturday availability is strongly preferred and may be required. Please provide your exact weekly availability when applying. Compensation Competitive hourly wage plus tips.
