Job Description
Bartender
The Bartender The Carnegie will prepare and serve beverages and food to residents with the utmost level of hospitality. Mixing and garnishing cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and following or creating cocktail recipes will fall under the Barkeepers responsibilities. The Bartender will report to the Dining Room Manager and assist with other dining needs as needed.

- Welcome residents to the bar area.
- Read and listen to residents to determine beverage preferences, make
- recommendations, and taking drink orders.
- Plan drink menus and inform residents about new beverages and specials.
- Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to residents.
- Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.
- Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations. What will I need to be successful in this role?

- High school graduate preferred
- At least 2 years of Bardtending experience
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?
- High school diploma.
- At least 2 years of bartending experience.
- Additional education, training, certificates, or experience may be required.
- Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Strong task and time management abilities.
- Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques. What's in it for me? (Great Question!)
Pay:
$19.00-$20.00/hr- A free meal per shift
