Job Description

Bartender The Bartender The Carnegie will prepare and serve beverages and food to residents with the utmost level of hospitality. Mixing and garnishing cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and following or creating cocktail recipes will fall under the Barkeepers responsibilities. The Bartender will report to the Dining Room Manager and assist with other dining needs as needed.

What will I do every day?
  • Welcome residents to the bar area.
  • Read and listen to residents to determine beverage preferences, make
  • recommendations, and taking drink orders.
  • Plan drink menus and inform residents about new beverages and specials.
  • Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to residents.
  • Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.
  • Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations. What will I need to be successful in this role?

  • High school graduate preferred
  • At least 2 years of Bardtending experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?
  • High school diploma.
  • At least 2 years of bartending experience.
  • Additional education, training, certificates, or experience may be required.
  • Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Strong task and time management abilities.
  • Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques. What's in it for me? (Great Question!)
Pay:
$19.00-$20.00/hr
