Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency with established recipes and presentation standards Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote beverage sales Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Develop new beverage recipes and craft innovative cocktails to keep offerings fresh and exciting Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure seamless service during busy hours or special events like banquets or nightclubs Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures, POS systems, and customer service expectations Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender with a strong foundation in mixology, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, and spirits expertise Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours without compromising quality or service speed Prior experience working in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within the hospitality industry Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and beverage recipe adjustments Experience with beverage recipe development to create unique drinks that appeal to diverse tastes Basic understanding of food industry operations including catering services and food service protocols Hospitality industry experience demonstrating adaptability across various settings such as retail or brewing environments Join us as a vital part of our team where your passion for mixology meets exceptional guest service!
