Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare drinks: Mix ingredients like liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to make cocktails and other drinks.

Serve drinks:

Serve liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks.

Maintain the bar:

Keep the bar clean and organized, and arrange bottles and glasses of legal drinking age. Sweep and mop the inner and outer bar area. Ensure compliance with alcohol regulations. Check photo ID's to ensure customers are of legal drinking age.

Refuse service to intoxicated patrons:

use proper judgment to refuse service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive.

Bar supplies:

Retrieve and return supplies for liquor, beer, and other bar-related necessities. Prepare mixers, juices and fruit garnishments. Unlock and inspect beer taps to ensure they are functional. Check the bar inventory and restock any items, if necessary. Assist stacking banquet chairs after each event. Other duties as assigned Licensing and certification Maryland bartender licensing or certification required.

Pay:

$16.50 - $18.00 per hour
