BARTENDER - 19th Hole

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Greets all guests in a professional and courteous manner. Prepares and serves beverages following established protocol, and all state and federal liquor laws. Keeps Leads and Food and Beverage Manager aware of any issues that in a timely manner and assists in resolution. Rotates schedule between being behind the bar, working on the beer cart on the golf course and light cooking. Must be efficient in cash handling procedures and maintain a working knowledge of Toast system and its functions including but not limited to credit card and gift card transactions. Makes sure that all daily revenue and server tip reports are reconciled and given to accounting at the end of every day. Ensures that checklists, requisitions and proper opening and closing functions are being completed each shift. Responsible for checking all IDs and ensuring only 21+ is served alcohol. Assists Food and Beverage Manager to decorate the bar area for theme weekends. Supports and follows Cove Communities and Point Sebago policy at all times. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Superior customer service skills ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) certification or willingness to obtain Must be able to lift 50lbs or more on a regular basis and able to withstand long periods of time on your feet Ability to operate blenders and other equipment safely Ability to function well in a high pace, sometimes high stress environment Comfortable effectively communicating with all levels of guests and staff Ability to work weekends and holidays Compensation $13.75 + Tips Employee Discounts Living Our Core Values Our Core Values guide us in everything that we do at Cove Communities.
