Server / Bartender — North Beacon Oyster North Beacon Oyster is hiring servers and bartenders to join our front-of-house team in downtown Rockland. We are an independently owned oyster bar and restaurant known for Maine oysters, thoughtful seafood, strong cocktails, and warm, knowledgeable service. We serve local regulars, seasonal visitors, and guests who seek us out as part of their Maine experience. We are willing to train someone with the right attitude. You do not need to arrive knowing everything about oysters, wine, or cocktails—but you do need to bring energy, confidence, curiosity, urgency, and a genuine desire to take care of people. How our team works North Beacon operates as a pooled house. Everyone's contribution affects the experience of our guests and the earnings of the entire team. There is no "my table, your table" mentality. We run food, clear and reset tables, welcome guests, restock, support the bar, and step in wherever service needs us. We can teach our menu and systems, but new team members must be ready to contribute, maintain pace, and learn quickly from the beginning. We would rather train an energetic, dependable person with excellent instincts than hire an experienced person who does not work well with a team. This is a fast-moving restaurant. New team members must be comfortable engaging with guests, carrying trays, running food, clearing and resetting tables, learning the menu quickly, and maintaining urgency during high-volume service. Bartending candidates should have relevant experience or a strong foundation in full-service restaurant work.
