Overview Join our vibrant hospitality team at The Peterboro as a dynamic and energetic Bartender/Server! In this role, you'll be the heart of the customer experience, blending expert mixology with exceptional service to create memorable moments for our guests. Whether crafting innovative cocktails or providing attentive service in a lively environment, you'll play a vital role in delivering an outstanding dining and beverage experience. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency with established recipes and standards Take customer orders accurately and efficiently while providing friendly, attentive service to enhance guest satisfaction Manage cash transactions and process payments using Toast POS systems with precision and accountability Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates that reflect current trends and customer preferences Assist with food service when necessary, supporting banquet or catering events to ensure seamless guest experiences Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate supply needs proactively to management Requirements Proven experience in bartending/serving within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipe development, wine varieties, and spirits expertise Familiarity with POS systems Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking between bar duties and guest interactions Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations Experience with beverage crafting including brewing or craft beer knowledge is a plus Flexibility to work bartending and serving as service levels dictate on evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by hospitality operations Join us in creating lively atmospheres where guests feel welcomed and valued! Pay:
$7.00 - $10.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 20.0 per week
