Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team! In this role, you will be the heart of the bar experience, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere for guests while expertly preparing and serving beverages. Your enthusiasm and excellent customer service skills will ensure guests have memorable moments, whether in a fine dining setting, nightclub, or banquet environment. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, billing, and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and balancing registers at shift end. Assist with food service when needed, including serving snacks or light bites during busy hours or events like banquets or catering functions. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment for all patrons. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; strong cash handling skills required. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math for transactions, tips calculation, and inventory counts. Previous experience in retail math, hospitality, brewing, or food industry roles is advantageous.
