Our restaurant is located inside the Terrace Inn and offers an exceptional dining experience designed by Executive Chef, Randy Hopkins. The menu features seasonal, locally sourced ingredients prepared entirely on-site.

Overview:

We are searching for a talented bartender to join our team at 1911 Restaurant! As our bartender, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional experiences to our guests. We are passionate about creating a memorable experience for all of our guests, and providing an inventive, approachable, and high quality bar menu is a huge part of this! We are focused on fresh, house made ingredients and a ever evolving bar menu reflective of the season.

Duties:

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Help create and curate the cocktail menu
• Prepare ingredient needed to make cocktails
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare beverages promptly and deliver to service bar or tables
• Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions
• Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on guests regularly
• Clear tables and reset them for the next guests
• Collaborate with wait staff to ensure timely service
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
• Utilize OpenTable or similar software for reservations and seating arrangements

Experience:

• Previous experience working in a bar and restaurant setting
• Knowledge of bar terms, ingredients, and menu items is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest relations
