Server & Bartender

Job Summary Archival Brewing is a high-volume brewery and restaurant built around community, scratch-made food, and historically inspired beer. Our space includes a large indoor dining room, outdoor deck, and a full biergarten—volume is constant, and there is an expectation that you can keep up without sacrificing service. We are looking for servers who can handle that environment without getting overwhelmed—people who stay organized, take ownership of their section, and bring positive, can-do energy to the floor. At Archival, we care about more than just turning tables. We're here to create a space where people connect over food and drink, with a focus on quality, history, and community. Reality of the Role This is not a low-volume or slow-paced serving job.

You will be expected to:

Manage a large section consistently and efficiently Maintain your section through constant pre-bussing and table upkeep—not just when prompted Move with urgency while still delivering attentive, genuine service Handle multiple priorities without needing constant direction What Success Looks Like The right fit for this role: Does not need to be micromanaged Maintains awareness of their entire section—not just the table in front of them Keeps tables clean, organized, and reset throughout service Owns their section from start to finish, rather than relying on others to fill gaps Stays composed and positive under pressure Takes pride in delivering a strong guest experience, even during peak volume Duties Provide fast, attentive service in a high-volume dining room and biergarten Maintain full awareness of your section, including bussing and table flow Accurately enter orders and process payments using Toast POS Support team operations through restocking and maintaining clean workspaces Follow all food safety and alcohol service standards Assist with service during events as needed

Requirements Must Have:

Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment Strong time management and multitasking skills Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred:

Serving or bartending experience Experience in high-volume restaurants or breweries Familiarity with Toast POS Event service experience This role is a strong fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work, and contributes to a team that holds a high standard of service.
